MANDEVILLE, La. — Ampirical
is pleased to announce team members David Ruth, Jr., Joseph McCleskey, Travis
Broussard, and Nicholas Duet have recently passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam, earning them the title of Professional Engineer (PE).
Professional Engineer (PE) licensing is an impressive achievement that
indicates that the engineer is truly dedicated, skilled and at the top of
his/her profession. Much like the examinations required for public accounting, law
and other professions, exam candidates spend a large amount of time preparing
to take the test. Numerous hours, days, weekends, and months go into studying
for the PE Exam and is the second required exam for engineers, taken after the
completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
"This is a
huge accomplishment for us because no project can be issued for construction
without the stamp of a PE. This ensures that the design is safe and cannot harm
the public.” Said Travis Broussard, Engineer II. "There is a new level of
responsibility that comes with this accomplishment and makes not only the
individuals who passed the exam, but Ampirical more marketable.”
title of Professional Engineer for these employees adds to the increasing
number of professionally licensed engineers the company has on board. This
accomplishment by these four gentleman is something to be proud of and speaks
highly of Ampirical’s efforts to increase its capabilities and quality of
service to its clients.
