Ampirical employees rolled up their sleeves this past weekend to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in Covington, Louisiana.
As a company who values giving back in their community, Ampirical employees were excited to help those in need of some extra hardworking hands.
While on the work site, Ampirical’s volunteers were fortunate enough to assist three different homeowners build and make improvements to each of their homes. They did everything from caulking and painting the first home, installing exterior siding to the second, and finishing porch stairs and handrails for third. Ampirical’s volunteers were excited to work on a project like this, utilizing their construction knowledge and hard work ethic as well.
Susan Goff, Senior Project Manager at Ampirical stated, “I love the team building aspect volunteering with your co-workers provides. I have never worked with a recipient of a house before so this time became more personal knowing how appreciative they are, how excited they are, and how much it means to them and their family. It is always a great feeling to help someone.”
Ampirical hopes to organize another Habitat for Humanity build in the near future and anticipates to have even more employees volunteer.
