New Orleans CityBusiness magazine recently honored 62 companies at its 17th annual Best Places to Work event, held at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. For the first time, Ampirical was one of them.
The Best Places to Work program is an annual award competition that ranks companies on two parameters. The first part is based on an extensive nomination form, which includes providing information regarding salaries, benefits, retention levels and employee advancement within a company. The second part involves an anonymous survey given to employees to assess the company’s workplace culture.
This might be the first year Ampirical has been recognized as one of CityBusniess’ Best Company’s to work for, but according to Ampirical employees, it’s not a surprise to be named on the list. “Ampirical is always reaching out for feedback from staff on how to make this a better company,” said Brandi Newman, a Senior Drafter. “They listen and implement the changes that are suggested.”
A full list of the Best Places to Work honorees will be listed in an upcoming special publication in the December issue of CityBusiness, and can be viewed online by clicking here.
About Best Places to Work | City Business
Started in 2003, Best Places to Work recognizes the city’s top employers, including large companies and small. Honorees are chosen based on a questionnaire of benefits offered, including average salary, health care, paid time off and employee programs, coupled with an online survey of employees. The employee survey is completely confidential, results are not shared to ensure that employees can respond honestly. There is no size requirement for nominees.
