Power quality is one of the most challenging and exciting parts of the modern utility practice.  It is also one of the most mis-understood.  Often quality and reliability are confused as the same thing.  Today we will be discussing, how power quality is defined from a standards perspective, and the implications of grid modernization on the quality of the power system.
