Ampirical and Northshore Technical Community College Partner to Support Student Education Through New Scholarship Program

Covington, LAAmpirical Solutions, LLC, announced a new scholarship initiative in partnership with Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC). The scholarship, titled Ampirical Annual Scholarship & Endowment Fund, will be funded by Ampirical and made available to eligible NTCC students beginning in the Fall of 2026.

The Ampirical Annual Scholarship & Endowment Fund is designed to support students pursuing education and training in technical drafting disciplines. The scholarship will be provided to two recipients, with $5,000 allocated to the scholarship and $5,000 to the endowment fund, helping reduce financial barriers and support student success as they prepare for in-demand careers.

“Ampirical has always believed that investing in education is essential to building a strong, sustainable workforce,” said Matthew Saacks, CEO. “We have a long and successful history of hiring NTCC graduates, many of whom have grown into key contributors within our organization. Through our partnership with Northshore Technical Community College, we are proud to support students who are building the technical drafting skills that will contribute to powering our communities for decades to come.”

Northshore Technical Community College serves students across southeast Louisiana by delivering industry-aligned programs designed to meet regional workforce needs. This scholarship partnership reflects a shared commitment between Ampirical and NTCC to expand access to education and strengthen the local talent pipeline.

“Partnerships like this with Ampirical are transformational for our students and our region. By investing in scholarships and long-term support, Ampirical is helping remove financial barriers, expand access to high-quality workforce training, and ensure our students not only enroll—but persist and complete their programs,” said Dr. Jim Carlson, Chancellor of NTCC. “This kind of commitment directly strengthens our talent pipeline and creates life-changing opportunities for the individuals and families we serve across the Northshore Region.”In addition to providing direct financial support, the partnership strengthens ties between industry and education, helping align curriculum, training pathways, and career opportunities with real-world workforce demands. The scholarship reflects Ampirical’s broader commitment to supporting education, professional development, and community growth across the regions it serves.”

Students who have completed at least 12 credit hours at NTCC in Engineering Support programs such as Drafting and Design Technology, Project Management, and Advanced Manufacturing with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply.

Recipients have been selected for the Fall 2026 semester. The students who are receiving the scholarships will be recognized at the Chancellor’s Scholarship Breakfast in March.
