Ampirical’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament Raises $75,000 To Support STEM Education In Southeast Louisiana

COVINGTON, La. — On May 14th, 2026, Ampirical hosted its 4th Annual Client Appreciation and Charity Golf Tournament at Beau Chêne Country Club, bringing together clients, industry partners, and community members for a day of connection and giving back. Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, donors, and participants, this year’s tournament raised $75,000 in support of the Southeastern Northshore STEM Center at Southeastern Louisiana University.

“Ampirical’s $75,000 investment in the Southeastern Northshore STEM Center is truly a game-changer for our students and our region,” said Jordan Smith-Kenning, Director of the Southeastern Northshore STEM Center. “These funds expand access to programs like STEM Scholars, our flagship workforce development program, and SeaPerch, a hands-on underwater robotics competition that brings engineering concepts to life, covering critical needs like supplies, transportation, and workforce readiness. We are reaching more young people than ever before, and we are incredibly grateful to Ampirical for investing in the future of Louisiana’s STEM workforce.”

The Southeastern Northshore STEM Center works to inspire and prepare students for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on learning experiences, workforce development opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.
The success of this year’s tournament would not have been possible without the continued support of Ampirical’s sponsors and partners. Their contributions directly support programs that create meaningful educational opportunities for students across Louisiana.

“Over the past four years, this tournament has grown into something much bigger than a day on the golf course,” said Ryan Zellner, Ampirical’s Director of Growth Operations. “Seeing our clients, partners, and community come together to support STEM education and invest in the next generation of innovators has been incredibly rewarding. The impact these funds will have on students and workforce development in our region is something we’re very proud to be part of.”

Since the tournament’s inception four years ago, Ampirical and its partners have raised more than $150,000 to support various power industry-related charities.
