Covington, LA – Ampirical is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Kirkland as Senior Vice President of Growth. In this newly created role, Kirkland will lead the company’s growth strategy—supporting pursuit planning, strengthening client partnerships, and advancing long-term business development efforts across Ampirical’s core service areas.
Kirkland brings nearly three decades of experience in the energy and utility industry, with a background that spans engineering services, OEM solutions, and strategic sales leadership. Most recently, he led growth efforts for a global engineering and technology firm, where he launched a national utility development program, secured more than 50 new MSAs, and helped drive top-line growth through a structured, client-focused approach. His experience building commercial organizations, scaling sales infrastructure, and leading multidisciplinary teams brings both depth and operational clarity to Ampirical’s expansion plans.
Earlier in his career, Kirkland held leadership positions at both technical service providers and product-focused companies, gaining hands-on insight into utility operations, capital planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
In his role at Ampirical, Kirkland will oversee strategic growth initiatives company-wide, bringing focus to market segmentation, client engagement, and long-term positioning. He will work closely with executive leadership to integrate recent acquisitions and ensure business development efforts align with the company’s broader vision.
