COVINGTON, La. – Ampirical, a trusted provider of engineering, procurement and construction services for electrical infrastructure, has been selected by Entergy Louisiana to support a major transmission infrastructure expansion in the state. This project will increase capacity, enhance grid reliability and help meet the rising energy needs of industrial and technology developments, including Meta’s recently announced $10 billion data center in Northeast Louisiana.
To support Entergy Louisiana’s efforts, Ampirical will provide engineering, procurement and construction services for key transmission and substation upgrades. The scope includes a 500/230kV substation, multiple 230kV load stations and several new 500kV and 230kV transmission lines. These improvements will reinforce the power network and ensure it is equipped to handle current and future demands.
