Covington, LA – Ampirical has appointed Kevin Tetz as Director of Program Management. In this role, he will oversee program and project management across Ampirical’s standout electrical and energy engineering teams nationwide, providing leadership and structure to support the planning and execution of complex utility and infrastructure projects.

Tetz brings nearly 30 years of experience in energy engineering and project delivery. Over the course of his career, he has advanced through a range of positions that include engineering design, project and program leadership, from pursuit to management and execution. Most recently, he has been responsible for program manager in the federal A/E sector, directing multidisciplinary teams on large-scale programs involving generation plants, vertical design, microgrids, substations, waterfront electrical, transmission lines, vertical aircraft hangars, radar and missile defense and energy efficiency initiatives. His work has given him a comprehensive view of the entire project lifecycle, from early development through final delivery.
In addition to projects across the United States, Tetz has managed assignments in international markets, utility grid projects, Department of Defense, Department of Energy, national laboratories, independent power producers, investor owned utilities, cooperative power providers, gaining valuable perspective on the challenges of delivering infrastructure across diverse environments. These projects have included power generation: solar, gas turbine simple and combined cycle, geothermal power, reciprocating engines, wind and storage. Also transmission and distribution initiatives including next generation substations, gas insulated switchgeard, SCADA, testing and commissioning, substations and switching stations, further broadening his technical and managerial expertise and alignment with Ampirical’s expertise and goals.

By bringing this experience to Ampirical, Tetz will strengthen the company’s ability to coordinate engineering efforts, maintain project alignment, and deliver consistent results for our clients. His leadership adds depth to Ampirical’s project management capabilities, supporting the company’s role in delivering critical utility and infrastructure projects across the country.
